la casita in Hoi An

"There is a concatenation of events in this best of all possible worlds: if you had not been kicked out of a magnificent castle for love of Miss Cunegonde, if you had not been put into the Inquisition, if you had not walked over America, if you had not stabbed the Baron, you would not be here eating preserved lemons and pistachio-nuts.""All that is very well said," answered Candide, "but now we have to take care of our garden."

Where our guests stay

The room is separated from the rest of the house, having its own entrance, reachable through the garden, and a comfortable size for one or two adults. Being the only guest room, one can enjoy his/her privacy almost fully. Two big paintings are hanging on the walls as witnesses from the time after the Vietnam War.
The room is provided with the usual amenities, excepting the absence of any television:
There'd be peace if everyone demanded peace instead of another television set. (John Lennon)

Close your eyes and feel the water around you.

Just add water

For swimming, this is definitively too small; we rather ride to the sea on our bicycles. It's only three km away, with beautiful, wide beaches. However, the pool is a big pleasure for cooling down on a hot day. Bicycles are available for our guests.

The street is possibly 20 m long :)

And we don't know the civic no.

The center of Hoi An can be reached over a good walk or by some minutes of bicycle riding. La casita lies a bit closer to the sea than the center of the town.
Street signaling in Vietnam is not the "crème de la crème", so better to find the location in Google Maps and look for the gray signs we have placed around there (see last slide).

It's a relaxing place. A normal car cannot reach the entrance: you have to walk the last few meters or to ride a bike to reach it.

For contacting, please email by pressing the button above or message/call over WhatsApp (red for EN & VN and green for DE, ES & IT). You can find the location by pressing the "maps" button.

We gladly share our kitchen with our guests

Breakfast is usually served in the garden: Vietnamese or continental style.
